JAL PAKHWADA 2025 OBSERVED AT PM SHRI KV OFK JABALPUR

As part of the nationwide initiative by Ministry of Education and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya OFK commenced Jal Pakhwada 2025 on 16th April with a collective Jal Shapath (water conservation pledge) by students and staff. This marked the beginning of a fortnight-iong campaign to raise awareness on water conservation. Various activities such as slogan writing, poster making, quizzes, and awareness drives are being organized to engage students and promote sustainable water practices. The initiative also aims to sensitize the community about the importance of saving water. The school remains committed to nurturing responsible citizens through active participation in environmental conservation efforts.

The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education. Over these six decades, KVS has not only established a strong benchmark for quality education but has also emerged as an influential, reliable and inspiring institution in the field of national education. On this path of development, Kendriya Vidyalayas have travelled from chalkboards to Al-enabled smart boards, embracing advanced technology. KVS has consistently implemented robust academic systems, innovations, technological advancements, and best practices to ensure the finest education for its students. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, KVS has been actively advancing learner-centred, skill-oriented, and future-ready education across all its schools. As a result, our Kendriya Vidyalayas have become a guiding model for other educational institutions. Over the years, Kendriya Vidyalayas have achieved remarkable accomplishments in diverse fields such as academics, culture, sports, innovation, technology, and value-based education. Our students have brought pride to the organisation through their outstanding performance across India and abroad. Likewise, our dedicated teachers and staff have continuously elevated KVS to new heights with their unwavering enthusiasm, commitment, skills, and sustained efforts. The noteworthy achievements of KVS in the field of education have led to a growing demand for new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. Keeping in view the trust and expectations of citizens, the Government of India has sanctioned 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas. Behind the glorious journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan stand the dedication of more than 56,000 teachers and staff, the talent of 13 lakh students, the unwavering trust of lakhs of parents, and the distinguished achievements of our alumni. I firmly believe that this educational journey of service, dedication, and success will shine even brighter in the coming years, and KVS will continue to write golden chapters of excellence.

Digg Raj Meena , For students to fly high in the unlimited sky, there should be an effort to bring education in the right direction with right values in various fields. Children must be prepared to face the problems and challenges of this complex world. They should have tolerance, compassion and sympathy for the weak. We live in a world where there is enough information, but the ability to understand and gain it in beneficial way comes from education. We have been entrusted with the role of administrator, teacher and advisor to fulfil this vision and very difficult mission in the institutions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Our endeavour is to make education enjoyable and meaningful. We strive to incorporate educational changes, integrate technology, develop critical thought skills, generate a quest for knowledge. Rising high is human nature but without proper training in human values, we may not be able to give them wings for independent flight. Science and spirituality should be harmoniously blended to make the youth perfect for national service and development. It is my belief that with the right approach and concerted work, Jabalpur Regional Office will develop a force to reckon and pursue excellence, which is difficult and not impossible. In Mom ‘s words, “One must always strive for perfection and the specific level of perfection today does ‘t matter today because one reaches at least one step tomorrow.”
